* The Eight Fears in Buddhism:
- False views
In order to liberate oneself from the eight internal fears which create suffering and disease, one must cultivate self compassion and balance in life. All humans feed into these fears to some degree, and it is important to recognize when a fear begins to significantly impact our life in a negative manner. Through maintaining awareness of the present moment and by continually checking in with oneself throughout the day, we can learn to identify the fearful thoughts and patterns which cause suffering in life. Recite “Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha” to cultivate the peaceful and protective spirit of Green Tara within oneself.
